  • American Airlines has launched a pilot of its One Stop Security (OSS) program at Dallas/Fort Worth, allowing passengers arriving from London Heathrow to bypass reclaiming baggage or passing through a second security screening—cutting connection times nearly in half.   • Delta Airlines will begin similar testing from London to Atlanta starting July 30, 2025. OSS may expand to other U.S. hubs later. New York Post

  • A bipartisan U.S. Senate bill would redirect security fee revenue ($500M/year toward explosives screening, $250M into checkpoint tech) and may end the requirement to remove shoes at TSA points and relax liquid limits.

Europe Travel Updates

  In Europe, the main travel update is the  ongoing delay of the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS), an electronic travel authorization for visa-exempt visitors, which is now expected to launch in late 2026 . The European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) will require visitors to apply online for a travel authorization before entering the EU.  Additionally, the Entry/Exit System (EES), which will track entries and exits of non-EU citizens, is now planned for launch in October 2025.
